CANTON,Ohio- I wanted to start making my predictions for each division in the NFL for the upcoming 2016. I’m going to start with the NFC West.
LAST PLACE- San Francisco 49ers- Looking up and down this roster, there’s some youth but I see older players in too many key positions like wide receiver. The 49ers will be very bad this year. No answer at QB either. Blaine Gabbert and Colin Kaepernick are not franchise quarterbacks.
THIRD PLACE- Los Angeles Rams- Football is back in the second largest market in the U.S.A. and they made a big slash by trading up in the draft to #1 and selecting Jared Goff. I’m only having them finish third because their in the same division as Arizona and Seattle. But maybe next year they will be a threat to win the NFC West.
SECOND PLACE- Seattle Seahawks- Losing Marshawn Lynch will hurt Seattle but backup Thomas Rawls will help lessen that blow. Russell Wilson at quarterback with Tyler Lockett, Doug Baldwin and a healthy Jimmy Graham for weapons on offense.
Seattle returns almost all of it’s defensive players except for a few, so they will be again a top ranked defense.
NFC WEST WINNER- Arizona Cardinals- They’ve got a really good offense and a really good defense. Carson Palmer at quarterback. I’ve always liked watching wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald play. These Cardinals could be playing in Super Bowl 51.
