The Brecksville Bees have won their 3rd game of the season and 3rd in a row after losing to Solon.  In a very tough Southwestern Conference the Bees pulled off a tough, but solid victory over a strong Avon Lake team on Tuesday night.  The Shoreman put up a strong fight, pushing the Bees to their limits throughout the contest.  The heroes of the game were Dan Auble, Dan Harwood and Luke Cipolla, who led the team with 18 points, 4 assists and 3 steals.  The Bees attacked the rim, going 10 for 12 from the free throw line in the second half overcoming a shaky start to game. Although the Bees outscored the Shoreman in 3 of 4 quarters, Avon Lake made a strong second quarter comeback to push the Bees into making some significant adjustments at the half.  Under the instruction of coach Mehalik, and what must have been an incredible half time speech, the Bees came out in the second half ready to play.  Led by the extraordinary play of Cipolla, Auble, and Harwood, the Bees began to pull away, finishing the game with a 51-37 victory.
