Broulis Beat Report: Week 2 NFL Predictions

bad postnot very good postgood postvery good postgreat post (No Ratings Yet)

CANTON, Ohio- Week Two of the 2016 NFL season is here. Let’s see if I can get 12 games correct this week.

Jets vs Bills- Both teams coming off a loss. I think Sammy Watkins has a big night and gets Buffalo in the win column.

49ers vs Panthers- I know San Francisco lit up the scoreboard last week. But Carolina is on another level. Panthers bring Chip, 49ers back down to earth.

Cowboys vs Redskins- I think the entire Washington team is still dazed and confused after Pittsburgh destroyed them. Dallas gets the win in our nations capital.

Bengals vs Steelers- Pittsburgh is already in mid-season form. Cincinnati always plays them tough though. The Steelers win it in the fourth quarter.

Saints vs Giants- New Orleans has a good offense, but to beat the New York Giants, you need a really good defense. The “G-MEN” move to 2-0 with a convincing win over the Saints.

Dolphins vs Patriots- Miami hung very tough in Seattle, but lost late. Unfortunately, they travel to New England and drop to 0-2. If Miami wins, it’s cause the Patriots just weren’t taking the Dolphins seriously.

Chiefs vs Texans- This is actually a tough pick for me. Kansas City knocked Houston out of the playoffs last year. The Texans get revenge with a close win.

Titans vs Lions- Both teams lack great defense, but I’m going to give Detroit a win in their home opener. That gets Detroit to 2-0 to start the season.

Seahawks vs Rams- Seattle will have a less than 100 percent Russell Wilson. The Seahawks still get it done on the road over L.A.

Buccaneers vs Cardinals- Arizona lost a close one at home last week. I see them bouncing back with a win over a good Tampa Bay team.

Jaguars vs Chargers- Jacksonville rolls into sunny San Diego and hand the Chargers a second consecutive loss. Jaguars get a nice win.

Falcons vs Raiders- Another tough pick. The Raiders get a statement win. I use the term statement because this would be a big win because Atlanta is a good team, Oakland is young but only improving and proving they are for real.

Colts vs Broncos- I feel that Denver is the better team, but on this day, Luck is on the side of the Colts. No pun intended. Colts win a close one.

Packers vs Vikings- This game and outcome could be a lot different if Teddy Bridgewater were playing. Green Bay improves to 2-0.

Eagles vs Bears- Philadelphia draws yet another weak opponent. But I’m going to give “DA Bears” a win at home. I think Wentz will make a few mistakes in this game.

Ravens vs Browns- Josh McCown will get the start, and in my opinion, for the rest of the year, unless he gets injured to. Cleveland has no confidence right now. Their best defensive player, Joe Haden, re-injured his ankle. And the Browns still haven’t learned how to tackle.

The only chance the Browns have is to outscore Baltimore.

The Ravens are loaded on both sides of the ball. In fact, not only am I calling for Baltimore to win, but I think this will be an extremely ugly loss for the Browns. It may be the worst home opener since their return in 1999.
