CANTON,Ohio- We are quickly closing in on opening day for the Cleveland Indians as they prepare to host the Boston Red Sox at Progressive Field so I thought I’d write an article about who I think will be on the 25 man roster come early April.

PITCHERS- Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco, Danny Salazar, Trevor Bauer, Josh Tomlin.

BULLPEN- Cody Allen (Closer), Joba Chamberlain, Tom Gorzelanny, Bryan Shaw, Zach McAllister, Jeff Manship, Austin Adams.

INFIELDERS- Mike Napoli (First Base), Carlos Santana (DH), Jason Kipnis (Second Base, Fransico Lindor (SS), Juan Uribe (Third Base), Jose Ramirez (Utility INF).

OUTFIELDERS- Michael Brantley (LF), Tyler Naquin (CF), Lonnie Chisenhall (RF), Marlon Byrd (Utility Outfielder), Rajai Davis (CF).

CATCHERS- Yan Gomez, Roberto Perez.

NOTES: I still wish Gio Urshela would have be the choice at Third but I do like Uribe. I think Tomlin is the right pick but again I would have liked at least one lefty in the starting rotation.
